Zaube Wild Food Festival will take place on 9th July, 12:00-18:00 at Zaube, Cēsis district.
Entrance to the festival is free of charge and here will be lots of activities for adults and children alike.
Various wild meat meals will be offered by the local “Zaube” hunters’ club including hunters’ soup, wild boar stew, deer pancakes, grilled red deer and others. Several caterers will prepare special wild food dishes, including vegetarian and vegan wild food options. For example, try forest mushrooms, tree-fungus, berries and wood sorrel.
In order to support Ukraine, this year there will be special Ukrainian guest cooks who will offer Ukrainian national meals with the touch of wilderness.
The craft beer association as well as several other home brewers will also be present, while healthy cocktails and snacks for children will also be on offer.

In addition to culinary culture, the day’s programme includes music, creative workshops using natural materials and various outdoor activities. A green market with excellent home-made products will be the place to stock up on supplies and souvenirs.
